The day is here at last! I can finally reveal the epic Jeff Brown cover for Awakening! Jeff and I talked at great length about what would best visually capture the book’s story. We ended up with two strong options but in the end, this one stood out. It captures the novel’s grand landscape, showcases tongas, unique creatures found within the world, and of course highlights Meera, the main protagonist, and her hawk companion. If you look closely, you can see two other tonga riders in the background, both of which play significant rolls in the plot. Did I mention how much I love that glorious sunset peaking around the mountain?

The cover truly captures the epic adventure that takes place within the book, and I can’t wait for you to go on that adventure April 11, 2026, Awakening’s publishing release day! Only three weeks left until you can order a copy of your own and enter the world of Tersaith!
