The time for AWAKENING’s book launch and cover reveal is drawing ever closer. As I type, Jeff Brown is busy doing what he does best, designing an epic book cover. Even the first design concepts were incredible to behold. After much discussion, there were two options we landed on, but in the end, one specific design stood out. It will capture the epic journey our adventurers embark on and showcase some unique Tersaithian creatures. To see characters, creatures, and the world I’ve created “come alive” is something so incredible, I cannot even find the words to express it. I seriously can’t wait to share this cover with you!

My focus right now is three-fold:

1. Press Kits – I am working on designing and preparing all the necessary documents and media files to send to book reviewers
2. A Final AWAKENING Proofreading – I know it’s near impossible not to have typos in one’s books, but I’m going to try my darndest to make sure there are as little within them as possible
3. Editing ALIGNMENT, Book II – it’s a slow process since the majority of my focus right now is on AWAKENING

I know the question on everyone’s mind is, “What are the dates for the book launch and cover reveal?” I too look forward to knowing the answer to that question! The hard truth is that epic book covers take time. I was hoping to launch in time for Christmas, but with the amount of shipping delays that occur during the season and printers off on holiday, I suspect it may not be until the new year. Either way, as soon as the cover is finalized, I will be ordering proofs. Once those arrive and I’m satisfied with the product, official dates will be set and press kits will be sent out.

In the meantime, I’ll leave you with a small glimpse into the initial rough draft for AWAKENING’s cover art. What you see below is a tiny corner of a very epic cover. I bet my beta and ARC readers know what location it is!
